Jessica Carvajal has lived in Nevada most of her life and is proud to call it home!

 

Jessica graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor’s degree in communications focusing on rhetoric and interpersonal communication. She has been able to use her studies as a Senior Market Recruiter, hiring qualified candidates into positions suiting their skills and aspirations. While she has pursed and enjoyed working in other fields such as marketing, convention sales, and event planning, she has found a real passion for recruiting. She loves that she is able to connect with individuals in the community and help place them in positions that they also have a passion for. Pageantry is also a great love for Jessica. Earning the title of USOA Ms. Nevada 2024 and then United States of America’s Ms. 2024 is an absolute honor. The United States of America Pageant’s platform is community service, which aligns perfectly with Jessica’s platform “Give Good, Get Good.” Give Good, Get Good focuses on volunteerism and community involvement and serves as a reminder that when you volunteer and put good energy out into your community you receive great rewards. As an avid volunteer and advocate for volunteerism Jessica has received The President’s Volunteer Service Award Gold Medal for serving over 500 hours in her community in 12 months. Last year, she was a recipient of the Bronze Medal. Collectively, over the last 20 months, she has volunteered over 1,000 hours in her community with various organizations. She also volunteered as a coach for a middle school cheer team for two years. Jessica is a member of the Junior League of Las Vegas, which also has become a great love for her. T he Junior League offers more opportunity to get involved with the community through volunteering, professional and personal training and development, and building a sisterhood with women focused on community service. Personally, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends. The best times are with loved ones, board games, good food and lots of laughs. She loves to travel when she can. Her favorite road trip is always to Disneyland!!! She also loves to bring her nephews and niece along with her when she’s able. She absolutely loves the beach, any beach. If there is sun, sand and water to be had, she is having it. As Jessica focuses this year on her personal and the United States of America Pageant’s goals, she hope to create a legacy of service. She’s committed to helping organizations in Nevada as well as across the nation grow in volunteers.

 

Jessica will continue and encourage others to live the motto: Empower | Inspire | Uplift
